在台灣的時候跟寶貝去看了天魔 (The Omen)，以一部恐怖片來說還算ok。如果覺得那部片還不錯，大概是因為那個小男孩長得實在很不討喜
...但我覺得編劇真的是很沒有創意！與造物主對抗的撒旦，企圖掌握世界權力的核心，進而毀滅世界。但撒旦所想要的毀滅，怎麼可能僅僅這樣子！！打個比方，對一個基督徒來說，死對他/她真的重要嗎？基督徒在乎的，不是現世，而是死後的世界，是末日的審判。所以我就不懂，殺死一個神父、毀滅物質世界，對撒旦來說到底有什麼好處?!
如果我是撒旦，我想我會用不同的方式。如果我要毀滅，我會選擇破壞信仰、價值觀等屬於精神世界的東西。毀滅一個基督徒的方法，不是要讓他墮落到黑暗的勢力，而是要讓他了解到這世界上根本沒有末日審判，沒有神，也沒有惡魔。人死後只是變成塵土罷了。讓他了解到以前所相信的那一套根本就是虛假空幻的！對於一個這樣的基督徒來說，他除了等死還能做什麼?! 這才是真正的毀滅！
科學家，常常與無神論者劃上等號，但科學家真的沒有信仰嗎?!有的...只是相信的東西不同罷了。雖然科學家的理性常常讓他拒絕宗教信仰，但科學家還是相信著某件事。那就是，這個世界的運行是遵守的某些規律的(雖然我們不清楚這些規律到底是什麼)。我實在很難想像，當一個科學家了解到他那些信以為真的規律其實只成立在我們活著的這短短的數百年，他的內心到底會怎麼崩潰?!
總而言之，要毀滅人，就要毀滅其信仰。每個人都有不同的信仰，所以，絕對沒有什麼單一的，很簡單毀滅世界的方式。這部片，把撒旦講的太簡單了。
The English translation is as follow.
I went see The Omen with Sally when I was in Taiwan. The film is ok regarding as a normal thriller. If you think the film is good, this is probably because the little boy's face is full of shit! However, in my opinion, the editors don't have any sense of creativeness. The Satan, who against the Creator, tries to hold the position which governs the world, and then go destory the world. But how could the destruction which Satan wants is just like the one described by the film?! For instance, does death really matter to a father (or a christian)? All christian's concern is about the life beyond death; is about the Last Judgement. So, I just can't understand that killing a father, or destroying the material world can benefit Satan what?! The destruction which Satan wants is far more than that...
If I were Satan, I would use different way to destroy the world. I would spoil beliefs or values belonging to spiritual world, which are the essences of human civilisation, rather than simply ruining material world. The way to knock down a christian is not converting him to the dark side (or just kill him), but let him realise that IN THIS WORLD, THERE IS NO THE LAST JUDGEMENT, NO GOD, NEITHER SATAN. PEOPLE JUST TURNS TO BE DUST AFTER DEATH. ALL WHAT HE BELIEVED IS JUST AN EMPTY ILLUSION!!! For such a christian, the only thing he can do is waiting to die! That is just a real destruction!
Scientists are often equivalent to atheists, but they really don't have belief?! If your answer is yes, oh baby, I got tell ya, you are so wrong!! What scientists believe is that THIS WORLD IS RULED BENEATH CERTAIN LAWS/PRINCIPLES (although we don't know what fuck the laws/principles are). I couldn't help myself feel so exciting to imagine that how scientists will be demolished if they acknowledge that the laws/principles they thought absolute are actually valid just within a tiny moment in whole universe history.
Anyway, if you wanna destroy a person, you must spoil his belief, which is different person by person. Therefore, there is no such straightforward way to destory the world. This film, is just a cliche.
